The Emergency Paediatric First Aid qualification is ideal for:
Parents and family members who want to learn essential paediatric first aid skills
Individuals who work with children but are not required to meet Ofsted’s Childcare Register or EYFS requirements
Anyone wishing to provide additional support to qualified Paediatric First Aiders who are trained to meet Ofsted or EYFS standards
This course provides practical, life-saving skills that give you the confidence to respond effectively to emergencies involving infants and children.

Learning Outcomes – Emergency Paediatric First Aid
Successful participants will:
Understand the roles and responsibilities of an Emergency Paediatric First Aider
Gain the skills and confidence to respond to a range of first aid situations involving infants and children, including:
Performing CPR
Managing wounds and bleeding
Dealing with other common emergencies
⚠️ Important Note:
This 1-day Emergency Paediatric First Aid course is not sufficient for those who are required to meet Ofsted’s Childcare Register or Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements.
For this, learners must complete the 2-day Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid.
