Written with experienced first-aid trainers, this interactive online course can be used to reinforce competency and keep knowledge up-to-date, provide refresher training for existing first-aiders and form part of a blended learning approach towards the one-day Emergency First Aid at Work qualification. On completion, learners receive a Highfield completion certificate.
To achieve a regulated Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF), learners must also complete practical training and assessment with an approved provider. (Available at ORS Group contact us for information)
This online training course is designed to give learners the opportunity to undertake online first-aid training and still go on to achieve the Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid (RQF) with a registered training provider.
As well as equipment use, casualty treatment, and record keeping
Learn about scene and primary surveys, and when to call for help
Explore life support techniques including CPR, AED use and seizure response
Recognise and treat choking casualties, blocked airways, and hypoxia effectively
Treatments for wounds, bleeding, circulatory system and hypovolaemic shock
Treat minor injuries including cuts, burns, splinters, contusions, and nosebleeds
for skills in first-aid for workplace emergencies
to gain confidence to respond effectively to accidents and injuries
